PONDA: The 750mm diametre pipeline supplying water to Panjim from Opa was found leaking at Curti on Wednesday morning. It was repaired immediately.
At this stretch, the pipeline is passing underground on the earth embankment of National Highway and leakage was found few metres away from the spot where two pipelines were damaged in a landslide in mid-August.
According to the officials, the leakage was minor and it was repaired immediately; the water supply was not affected.
