Water problem temporarily solved at Temba

The Temba locals in Merces finally heaved a sigh of relief, as the PWD officials were able to find the cause of low water pressure in the area.
No longer the problem was rectified, the water pressure improved drastically in Temba, bringing joy to the affected villagers.
According to JE Borkar, the GI pipeline which is very old has corroded and at some places it has resulted in blockade.
“We were able to find the areas where the blockage occurred and we rectified it,” he added. Borkar further said that as a permanent measure, the PWD will now allot the work of laying a new pipeline to a contractor so that the problem doesn’t recur.
