WATER SCARCITY: Kesarval, Cortalim Residents Demand Immediate Action

Residents of Kesarval, Cortalim, are once again voicing their distress over an enduring water scarcity problem. They highlight the persistent challenge arising from the department’s apparent inability to promptly identify and rectify faults or leaks in the local water supply system.

Over the past eight days, residents of Kesarval have been left without access to essential drinking water, compelling them to rely on water tankers for their daily requirements. This dire situation has prompted them to question whether the same level of inaction would have been tolerated if the affected water supply had been earmarked for industrial purposes.

In a bid to find respite from their water woes, residents are fervently urging the department to take swift action. They are calling for either the restoration of the faulty pipes or the provision of free water through tanker deliveries to alleviate their predicament.
