WB native drowns at Sinquerim beach

MAPUSA: A West Bengal native died due to drowning at the Sinquerim beach on Monday.

MAPUSA: A West Bengal native died due to drowning at the Sinquerim beach on Monday.
According Calangute Police,  one Asif Iqbal, a 25-year-old native of West Bengal, presently residing at Mapusa, got drowned at Siquerim beach on Monday.
The deceased had come to Sinquerim beach along with his friends. 
The deceased had climbed on rocks to click photos when a hug wave pulled him into the sea. The lifeguard immediately launched a search and rescued him. They immediately took him to Primary Health Centre at Candolim where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
The body has been sent for post mortem.
