PANJIM: The Directorate of Women and Child Development has notified the guidelines for Grant of Accreditation to Non-Governmental Organisations in the field of Women and Child Welfare NGOs Accreditation guidelines in 2014.
The notification says the accreditation will be granted to non-governmental organisations working primarily in the field of women and child welfare within the State of Goa as per eligibility conditions laid down in these guidelines.
The directorate has constituted a committee – Non-Governmental Organizations Accreditation Committee (GNGOAC) to discharge the functions laid down under these guidelines.
The applications approved by GNGOAC shall be issued a Certificate of Accreditation in the prescribed format annexed to these guidelines by the Director, Women and Child Development. The accreditation granted shall be valid for a period of three years and subject to further renewal by GNGOAC.
All the non-government organisations (NGOs) working in the field of child and women development/welfare in Goa are requested to submit their application to the directorate in hard copy as per the format available in the guidelines. A copy of the guidelines is also available at www.dwcd.goa.gov.in.
