PANJIM: Morinformsystem-Agat JSC the leading Russian Naval defense smart systems producer in Russia, a holding of 18 companies across Russia with the head office at Moscow, continues its relations with Indian partners.  The holding company is the major producer of combat management systems and integrated control systems for the Russian Navy, including the most state-of-the art technologies that are installed on Russia’s newest surface ships and submarines. Morinformsysytem-Agat was engaged in the Russian Navy control and Command center installation in 2014 that enables to link all of the ships to the only control center. The same state-of-the-art technology may be offered to the Indian Navy.
“We are ready to look for mutually beneficial patterns of cooperation with India. We want to strike a balance of interest with all the parties at stake; the Indian Government and the Indian business and us,” said Mr.Georgy Antsev, Director General – Chief Constructor, Concern Morinformsystem – Agat JSC.
This year Morinformsystem-Agat JSC is offering its state-of-the-art solutions to the Indian Navy and Army. Among these are: CMSs for submarines and surface ships, radar systems, fire control and safe weapon engagement systems that are already installed on the Indain ships. There are also some new products that Morinformsystem-Agat is willing to offer, including coastal mobile defense systems Bal-E and Club-M, general purpose fire control system ЗР-14 UKSK-Х, radio-electronic monitoring system “Kasatka”, underwater robotics and hydroacoustics (sonar systems).
Morinformsystem-Agat is offering a technology to install various surveillance and defense means including airborne, surface, coastal and underwater robotics into a comprehensive coastal defense system that can cover the whole cast of India. Such a system would protect high-security zones (ports, water hubs etc.) from any acts of terror, intrusion, possible attacks and even natural calamities.
“The company is aware of the plans to localize the technology in India. It is the governments of Russia and India who are to decide on the sensitive issue of technology transfer in each particular case. But we are ready to take our part in whatever Naval projects our governments agree upon,”  Mr Antsev added.
Currently, Morinformsystem – Agat JSC has its systems including combat management systems, fire control systems, radar systems installed on almost all projects of Indian Ships, including P-15, P-17, 11356, 1143.4. (Vikramaditya). “The company is ready to integrate its systems together with Indian companies on new projects of Indian submarines (including 75i) and surface ships. Some of our systems have no direct analogies in the world. We are looking at finding a reliable Indian partner to do the job for the Indian Navy,” said Mr Antev.
Some of the company’s subsidiary to Morinformsystem – Agat have 50 years of cooperation with India. Morinformsystem – Agat suggested integrating Club and Brahmos missiles on Indian Surface – Ships with a universal general purpose fire control system.
