PANJIM: Colvale Police have booked a 31-year-old man from West Bengal for allegedly misappropriating over Rs 10 lakh using the key of the locker of the company where he was working.
According to police the accused was working as a supervisor at AALLIANCE TSCS Private Limited. He was entrusted with cash locker key of the company.
But on January 28, 2024, Haldar, allegedly took the cash amounting to Rs 10,02,000 from the company locker and decamped with the same for his personnel use.
Colvale Police have registered an offence under section 408 of IPC. Further investigation is in progress with PSI Bharat Kharar under the guidance of PI Vijay Rane and SDPO Mapusa Sandesh Chodankar.
