MARGAO: PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has said that the Centre may not sanction western bypass on stilts at Benaulim and Seraulim.
Dhavalikar expressed this opinion during a meeting he had with the villagers and elected panchayat members of Benaulim and Seraulim, on the request of local MLA Churchill Alemao, on Friday.
While the people have stuck to their demand that the national highway be build on stilts through these two villages, the PWD minister said that it was highly unlikely.
