PANJIM: A jet patcher, a machine that was supposed to be the ultimate solution for all potholed roads in the State fell into a deep pothole at Santa Cruz on Thursday.
It was a case of supreme irony as pompously inaugurated as “Pothole Brigade”, stood literally grounded.
The machine was subsequently removed from the pothole.
According to available information, the jet patcher was returning after repairing potholes in Bondir at St Cruz.
However, on its way, near the St Cruz post office, the “pothole brigade” landed on a pothole and became a laughing stock among the residents and passers-by.
