After a long Independence Day weekend, a tired Ramu went to sleep early thinking about the nation and his land Goa of course. He slipped into a dream where he was transported straight to 2027 where his state known for its post 10 pm rave parties and 24×7 political parties was going to the polls
The traditional party as usual has its hand held by the one and only Great Conductor. He was music composer creator singer, entertainer and political manipulator all at once The Great Conductor (GC for short) – obviously contested all 40 seats because there was no one else who could contest. When the results came out, lo and behold GC had won all.
The scoreboard read GC 40, Principal Opposition Party (POP) -0.
How GC always does well to make the Lotus bloom
But the POP was not at all worried. After all, GC could be trusted to make flowers bloom in the home of the Principal Opposition Party, especially his all-time favourite flower- the lotus. In a matter of days, the POP became the ruling party as the GC crossed over lock stock and barrel. It was perhaps the fastest jump from 0 to 40 by any party in the world.
GCs fame and demand spread far and wide and different countries wanted to hire him for their election campaigns. Ramu however was a little confused as to why GC was in such demand. As always he went to Chintamani and shared his thoughts.
‘Chinta’, he said, why do even international countries want out GC for their elections?
GC, the great FOREX asset
Chita said, “Simple dear Ramu. GC is a great asset and political conductor He is a FOREX asset and a political asset. Countries hiring him know he will deliver results. He will contest from a side opposing, the one who hires him after elections he manages everything to see that his hiring bosses win even if they lose in the polls. This great talent doesn’t come cheap. And it earns FOREX for our land.”
Since this was still a part of this enchanting dream, he left Chinta’s house and came back home. And what did he see? A Facebook post put up by GC saying he was off to the USA at the invitation of Mr Don Trump. Don was fascinated by GC’s talent. At a high-level meeting at Trump Terrace, the plan was worked out. GC would quietly go and work with Don’s presidential rival Sleepy Joe; with Joe not realising he is Don’s man.
As planned, he ensured that Joe lost enough seats for Don Trump to win. Don was overjoyed and kept saying “GC, he’s good, He’s good, and I love India”.
Back to the pavillion
He also offered him a good position in his team, but GC always does what is good for him only. He was also missing his fish curry rice and politics back home. After all, such talent can’t be stuck in a faraway country. So he came back to pavillion the art of making losers win and winners lose is rare, like the Mona Lisa in the Louvre in Paris.
Finally, GC was back at “home” for his next Lotus project, but by giving a “hand” to the other party.
