It is presently functioning from a temporary structure put up in a private property. At least twice in the past, funds were allotted to construct a panchayat ghar, but mysteriously the funds vanished into oblivion without seeking accountability from the local administrators concerned of the village.
With much fanfare in 2009, in the presence of the then local MLA, a foundation stone was laid for a multipurpose panchayat complex at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore from the MPLAD fund.
Sadly, what remains, till date, is the ghastly looking incomplete ground for the passers-by to see. Where has the panchayat complex gone?
