Who will take responsibility for the poor roads?

Grave concern has been raised in Pajifond where the government has done up the roads while no arrangement has been made for a storm water drain thereby resulting in large sections of the road caving in for which the PWD should take flak and re-do the job. The caved in road at Pajifond near Peppers Restaurant is also dangerous for heavy vehicles and public transport plying towards Quepem and Sanvordem.
Reliance JIO may be a few days away from their launch but a question raised by many people in Margao, Borda, Aquem, Fatorda and parts of Maddel is the fact that these towers are all located along the road with no barriers or crash pads. Nobody has a clue as to the repercussions if a heavy vehicle crashes into a Reliance Jio tower. The question is whether the government was so handicapped to cave-in to give permissions and permit the towers along the roads with no setback space.
Another big inconvenience to Margao residents is the total blockage of Comba around the Civil Court area wherein over 100 advocates break all the rules of parking within Comba and block the entire street with their cars with no police force daring to take any action. The South Goa Advocates body is unwilling to tell its members to start a car pooling movement or to park in a way without violating traffic rules. The residents of Comba face the same inconvenience as those who are stuck in morning traffic in the rural areas.
