PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Amit Patkar on Friday took strong exception to Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vishwajit Rane’s decision to launch a personal email if for people to register their complaint regarding land conversions when government portal was available for the same.
Taking to twitter handle, Patkar asked, “Mr Rane why private email id for filing complaints before TCP when government portal email ID is available? Where is the transparency? @DrPramodPSawant have you handed over Goa to @visrane? Why private email to file complaints at TCP? Goa is not somebody’s private Jaagir.”
Meanwhile, as many as 61 complaints were received on TCP email including one against Leader of the Opposition Michael Lobo, according to Rane. The complaint against Lobo is of illegal change of zone, he said.
