Wife of IRB Officer was seriously injured when she accidently pulled the trigger of his service revolver at his residence at Guirim Mapusa.
The freak accident occurred on Tuesday night wherein 24-year-old Gauri Dhanu Bogati was severely injured. The bullet passed through her left wrist and hit her left thigh, breaking both the leg and the wrist bone.
She is currently admitted at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim where she is undergoing treatment.
While Police
Superintendent of North Goa Nidhin Valson said that a case has been registered
against the IRB officer. He futher said that rigorous inquiry in the case is underway,
and findings will be reported to senior officers
