Wild tusker causes havoc in Hasapur

PERNEM, FEB 2 (HC) —  A wild elephant from Maharashtra strayed into Hasapur-Pernem on Sunday and caused havoc in the village.
The tusker destroyed paddy crops belonging to three farmers, Nivruti Malik, Vinayak Malik and Madhukar Malik. Forest Department officials later drove the elephant into Netarda village along the Goa-Maharashtra border.
