VASCO: The new Mormugao Planning and Development Authority Chairman Carlos Almeida has expressed his desire to permit construction of single dwelling units in 48 hours. He spoke after being appointed as the Chairman of MPDA.
Carlos said that he will also be initiating development of open spaces in Vasco areas for various purposes mostly for public places. He has expressed his commitment to permit single-family dwellings within 48 hours.
He further told that some sewerage works are going on in several areas which has resulted in bad roads. “There is work of sewerage line going on at F.L Gomes road and some more areas. After this work over the roads will be tarred. Roads of Mangor and Baina too will be repaired and tarred in a month” said Carlos.
The people have welcomed the decision of MLA Carlos Almeida of clearing files and granting permissions to single dwelling units.
