PANJIM: Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho on Wednesday said that he will ask ministers and MLAs not to violate the law by using tinted glass vehicles.
Godinho stated this during the presentation of fines prescribed in the amended Motor Vehicles Act.
The Minister said that though tinted glasses are permitted with certain permissible limit, he will request his Ministerial colleagues and MLA to remove tinted glasses if they are using it.
“Yes, certainly we will take action against tinted glass vehicles. I will ask my department to request them (Ministers and MLAs) to remove tinted glasses. Law is same for everyone,” he said when asked whether action would be taken against those particularly Ministers and MLAs travelling in tinted glass vehicles.
