Opposition Leader Michael Lobo has said that he will challenge
the withdrawal of conversions sanads in court. He called on the chief minister
to clarify if the Outline Development Plans change with the TCP Minister since
ideally, they should be in force for 10 years so that people can do planning and
investment. He said the plans are not made by ministers but by government officials
following all rules and regulations.
Here the attempt is to show who is powerful and a tweet is put out to show that
one is the savior of Goa.
Michael Lobo said there is no largescale conversion of tenanted land in Parra and he was not the minister nor in charge of the Arpora Nagoa plan. He questioned how a satellite township is being created with 400 FAR near a UNESCO heritage site, adding the issue will be taken up in the Goa Assembly as also the Wagheri hill cutting issue
