As the Goa Assembly commenced its Budget session on Monday, during question hour Opposition Members questioned the govt if Dabolim would be a ghost airport after Mopa becomes fully functional? Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant said “ Bhivpachi garaz nam” since the govt has invested Rs 850 crore in Dabolim in the last four years. Goa will have dual airports since there is a great demand for Goa as a destination. He, however, was not able to lay the statistics regarding passenger demand for both airports for the next five years.
