MARGAO: Peaking at a public Dussehra celebrations at Fatorda, Goa Forward President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai assured Goans that he and his party would ensure that the corrupt and communal BJP would fail to form the Government in Goa in 2022.
He declared that his party would take the lead to facilitate an political alternative to BJP, that would be set at rest the prevailing public doubt that opposition MLAS tend to split or be bought by the ruling party post polls.
He said the real victory over evil that Dussehra symbolises would be achieved when a strong force would storm to power in the state with a robust Goenkarwadi campaign that would not only preserve Goa for posterity but would ensure viable economic prosperity for future generations.
Declaring that the confidence of the BJP to return to power was based on existence of a fragmented opposition that would be bought over post results, Vijai declared that a strong alternative that could not even be imagined to split at behest of BJP was the best bet to achieve the change Goans aspire for.
He reminded the people that the socio politically conscious populace of Goa had shown in the past by smartly voting for the right candidate inspite of the presence of both national parties in the fray.
“Such examples could be recreated at the state level which would cause the political revolution that Goa needs”, he said.
