“Immediately after receiving a report ascertaining the cause of death, I will file a PIL in the court to seek a ban on EDM festivals, on grounds that such music festivals promote drug culture and ruin the lives of people,” said Kamat. He appreciated Calangute MLA Michael Lobo for demanding an Anti Narcotics Special Cell to free the State from the menace of drugs.

PONDA: Congress Organising Secretary Durgadas Kamat has stated that he will file a PIL in the court, on receiving a report on the death of a young woman at an EDM festival, to seek a ban on such events in the State.
