BICHOLIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said government will keep no stone unturned in giving top priority to safeguard the health of the people and added that he is always ready to solve grievances of people regarding issue of health.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the “emergency Unit Care centre” at Community Health Centre, Sanquelim. Also present on the occasion were speaker Dr Pramod Sawant, Health Director Sanjay Dalvi, Sakhali Municipal Council (SMC) Chief Officer Pravinvijay Pandit, councillors Brahmanand Desai, Rajesh Sawal, Dayanand Boryekar, team of eminent doctors and others.
Rane further informed that after taking reigns as health minister in the state he has implemented different projects in health sector like speeding the services of 108 Ambulance, bringing technical health equipments in order to benefit people, cleanliness in the hospital and others. “In order to bring glory to 108 Ambulance service government has decided to start 108 motorbike ambulances with well equipped health amenities in order to reach patients instantly,” added the health minister.
Dr Pramod Sawant told that intensive care unit has been started in CHC on behalf of 108 GVK and added that person meeting with major accident and patients with different diseases will be brought to this unit and will be treated on priority.
