VALPOI: Stating that the Mhadei issue is very close to his heart, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said he would try his level best to come out with a solution.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of Sattari Mhadei Lok Ustav at Dongurli Thane panchayat ground.
The Chief Minister said, “Mhadei River is our mother and today our mother is in trouble. Not only Sattari people but whole of Goa depends on the Mhadei River.”
“I will constantly follow the Mhadei issue. The mining and Mhadei issues are very close to my heart”, the Chief Minister said.
The Chief Minister said, “Without the Government support, the Sattari people organised the three-day Ustav this year, which is worth appreciating. I will extend my full support to the Mhadei Lok Ustav, next year.”
Sattari Mhadei Lok Ustav president Laxman Gawas, Uttam Gaonkar and Uday Sawant, were present.
