MARGAO: Cuncolim police have sent wireless messages to police stations in Goa and also to the neighbouring States giving a description of the 13-year-old school student allegedly kidnapped by an unknown person from one of the villages in Salcete.
Cuncolim police said that based on the complaint lodged by her mother, an offence under Section 363 of IPC for kidnapping and 8 of Goa Children Act has been registered against unknown person who is absconding along with girl.
According to Cuncolim police the mother of the student said that her minor daughter had gone to the school in the morning but had not returned home after the school hours and that the daughter was kidnapped from her lawful guardianship.
