CANACONA: Six new COVID-19 cases were detected on Sunday in Canacona taking the case tally to 600.
Of these cases, 444 have recovered and 10 have succumbed to the deadly infection.
A bulletin released by Canacona Community Health Centre stated that six persons tested positive for the infection on Sunday.
Two persons in Canacona municipal jurisdiction while one from Loliem-Polem and three from Agonda tested COVID positive on Sunday.
CHC sources informed that till now 10 persons from Canacona have succumbed, while 444 have recovered.
Sources further informed that 144 patients are recuperating either at various COVID facilities in the State or in their homes under observation.
