MARGAO: JMFC Shilpa Pandit on Tuesday examined one witness and summoned another four witnesses on the next date of hearing of the case against Francis Pereira for desecrating the cross at the old canoe crossing at Cotta in Chandor.
After examining one witness for the disclosure the second witness’ examination was dropped and two witnesses for the attachment of hammer and two witnesses for the attachment of the car are summoned for the next hearing fixed on November 22.
The judge also directed that the Curchorem Police Inspector to present the attached hammer and material collected from Francis’ car to the court on November 22.
