In Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district, a disturbing incident unfolded as a woman reportedly stabbed her husband in the eye with scissors following a request for tea. The woman, identified as Ankit’s wife, swiftly fled the scene, leaving him injured and bleeding. The couple, married for three years, had a history of escalating domestic conflicts, with recent complaints of assault filed against Ankit and his family by his wife just days before this violent incident.
Ankit’s request for tea allegedly triggered the attack, resulting in a distressing situation that drew the attention of Ankit’s sister-in-law and children. They alerted the police, but before law enforcement arrived, the wife managed to escape. Ankit was promptly taken to a community health center and subsequently referred to Meerut for further medical attention. Authorities have initiated an investigation, forming teams to locate and apprehend the woman involved.
