According to some motorists plying on the Borim Bridge, the woman jumped off the Borim Bridge at about 12.30 pm. They immediately alerted Ponda police, who rushed to the site and conducted search operations. However, the woman was not traced till late evening.
Police have found a purse which was left behind by the woman before jumping off the bridge. An identity card was also found with the name of Rupa Ratod from Metwada-Dharbandora. Ponda police is investigating the case.
