BICHOLIM: A 38-year-old women from Ajobanagar Honda, Rency Bijo Joy died on the spot after a car in which she was travelling in along with her husband rammed into a roadside tree after the driver lost control over the vehicle at Harvalem, Bicholim on Wednesday at around 11.45 am.
According to Bicholim police, the victim along with her husband Bijo was travelling towards their residential place from Sanquelim by car driven by her husband. When they reached Harvalem, the driver lost the control over it due to which it skidded off the road and flung away into roadside field thereby ramming into a tree consequently killing the deceased on the spot.
The victim was rushed to Sanquelim community health centre but declared brought dead. Panchanama was conducted by ASI Gopal Gawas and PSI Harish Gawas under the guidance of PI Sanjay Dalvi.
