Woman robbed of chain at Corlim

Robbers snatched a gold chain from a woman at Belavista-Corlim early Sunday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred when one Mary D’Souza was on her way to attend mass at St Joao Facundo Church in Corlim. Two persons riding a motorcycle snatched the gold chain and fled from.
Speaking to Herald, D’Souza said she was unable to recognize the persons and was also not able to note the motorcycle number.
Later, when the incident was brought to the notice of St Joao Facundo Church Parish Priest Fr Assis Dourado, he asked the parishioners of Corlim to be cautious against such chain snatchers.
