MARGAO: The body of 62-year-old woman Antonneta Cardozo, a resident of Aframento, Curtorim was found floating in a lake in Curtorim on Friday morning.
The floating body was first noticed by one of her brothers who happened to pass by the lake. People suspected it to be a murder but by evening the police disclosed that there was no foul play involved.
The Police have registered a case of unnatural death and Maina-Curtorim police are investigating into the matter.
