Work laying pavers at Vasco modern market commences

VASCO:  The work laying pavers on footpaths at the modern market, here, was launched on Friday by Councillor Krishna (Daji) Salkar.
On this occasion, Salkar said the shopkeepers and hawkers at the market and the people visiting the market were facing great inconvenience due to uneven pavers and footpath. 
“This work of laying pavers will solve the problem and will benefit the visitors and vendors,” he said.
Salkar credited Urban Development Minister Milind Naik for bringing various developmental works worth Rs 12 crore within four months. 
“The pavers setting and laying of footpath was brought by Milind Naik,” he said. 
Councillor Kritesh Gaonkar opined that the pavers and footpath works would resolve the dust pollution in the market.
