PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said that the construction work of administrative building at Patto would commence by November-December where all the government offices from Panjim would be brought under one roof.
Parrikar was addressing a corner meeting at Tonca-Panjim during his campaign for the ensuing by-polls. He said that administrative building would decongest Panjim. “Traffic management and parking issues will be sorted after that,” he added.
He said that Directorate of Health, all the offices from Junta House, all the offices from old education building and all other government offices would be shifted to the administrative building at Patto once it is ready.
He said that Directorate of Health and old education building premises after demolition can be used for parking. The Junta house can also be used as a multi-storey parking facility with top floor for residential quarters for government servants, he informed.
