Worker dies in Marcaim estate

A worker from Bihar died in an accident at an industrial unit at Marcaim on Monday at about 11.30 am.
According to Ponda Police, Mukeshkumar Satyanarayan Kamat, presently residing at Kundaim, was repairing the lift at a unit in Marcaim Industrial Estate.
Police further informed that due to probable mechanism failure, the lift came down and Kamat was crushed to death.
The body has been preserved in the morgue at GMC Hospital in Bambolim and a postmortem will be conducted on Tuesday.
