PANJIM: The 9th edition of four-day long World Ayurveda Congress (WYC) and Arogya Expo will kick off in Panjim on Thursday. Over 5,000 delegates from 60 countries will be participating in the event that will conclude on December 11 in presence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
There are more than 300 Ayurveda patronized companies in International AROGYA Expo of WYC. Individuals and institutions from India and abroad will showcase various programmes related to Ayurveda.
Union Minister for AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of State for AYUSH Mahendra Munjapara, Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with State health ministers of Goa, Haryana, Rajasthan, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand will be present for the inaugural event on Thursday.
