VASCO: WRD Minister Filipe Neri Rodrigues on Tuesday informed that the aquaculture pilot project which is being introduced in Baina Lake, if it turns out to be successful then Water Resource Department would be interested to implement the same pilot project in various constituencies in the State.
Minister Rodrigues interacting with the reporters stated that his visit to Vasco was to see the beautification and introduction of aquaculture in Baina Lake.
“I was invited by Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida and I was also interested to see such innovative project,” he said. He said, “If this aquaculture pilot project becomes 100 per cent successful, then WRD would be interested in introducing this same project in various constituencies across Goa.”
MLA Carlos Almeida said that he would take up the next project for the birds in Maimolem Lake. He further requested the locals not to release their sewage water in the lake.
