CURCHOREM: Elections to the Xeldem and Barcem Zilla Panchayat seats passed off peacefully, Quepem Deputy Collector and Returning Officer Shanker Gaonkar told Herald.
Xeldem ZP constituency reported a 70.35 per cent turnout, while Barcem Constituency reported a 78.29 per cent turnout.
Elsewhere, Dharbandora Deputy Collector and Returning Officer Shagun Velip informed that Sanvordem ZP constituency reported 68.58 per cent turnout, while Dharbandora fared better with a 72.29 per cent turnout.
