‘Xintidan Paim Ghal Go Bai’ wins tiatr competition

PANJIM: Xintidan Paim Ghal Go Bai from Kal Niketan Majorda won the first prize at the 39th group tiatr competition 2013.

PANJIM: Xintidan Paim Ghal Go Bai from Kal Niketan Majorda won the first prize at the 39th group tiatr competition 2013.
The second prize went to “Xik’ko” by Anil Olga Production, Candolim. 
“Nnay vo On’nyay” by St Domnic Dramatic Troupe, Merces was awarded the third prize. 
Consolation prizes went to “Nit Onit” by Kala Mogi Candolim and “Xevott” by Unique 20 Self Help Group, Vasco.
Domnick D’Costa of “Xintidan Paim Ghal Go Bai” bagged the award for the Best Director while the second prize went to Nnay vo On’nyay’s Shirish Naik.  The third prized was presented to Anil Pednekar for “Xik’ko”.  
The results were declared in the presence of  KA Chairman Vishnu Surya Wagh, judges ~ Joe Rose, Ceasar D’Mello and Nilesh Mahale, directors and press.
Dilip Borcar and Anil Kumar who were the judges for Lyrics/Script were also present. 
The individual first prize for the Best Actor (Male) went to Sameer Gadekar for his performance in “Ami Khuim Chuklim” while the second prize was presented to Rosario Botelho from “Tumcho Sangat”. 
Merit certificates were also presented.
Best Actor (Female) went to Smital Hoble for her role in “Nnay Vo On’nyay” and the second prize was awarded to Melinda Pereira for her role in “Xevott”.
Best Comedian (Male) went to Alexin John Fernandes for his role as Baltu Kaka in “Sarpanch” while the prize for the Best Comedian (Female) was presented to Jane Rebello for her role in “Nnay vo On’nyay”.
Best Child Artist (female) went to Avila Pereira from “Tumcho Sangat”. 
Minglu de Merces (Nnay Vo On’nyay) and Caziton Fernandes (Sarpanch) bagged the first and second prize in the Best Singer Solo – Male category. In the Best Singer Solo –  Female category, the first and second prize went to Eleine Pinto (Nanv)  and Sara Fernandes (Kalloki Surya) respectively.
Cameron Fernandes (Guneanv Tuzo) won the Best Child Singer Solo (Male) prize, while  Francisca Camilo (Devachea Molleant) won prize in the female category.
The prize for the Best Choral Song went to Vanisa, Deron, Michelle, Lenin (sopnantlem..), while Best Duet prize went to Lorna and Alexin Fernandes (Sarpanch).
Ashish  Pereira and Juje Fernandes (Jivit Devachem Dennem) were adjudged the Best Duo. While Anil – Olga – Joe (Xik’ko) were declared as  the Best Trio. 
Best Quartet Song prize went to  Andrew Fernandes, Alisha d’Sa, Connie Pereira and Gabriel Fernandes (Tumcho Sangat)
Cruz Sequeira (Tumcho Sangat) was awarded for the Best Setting, while  
Srinivas Usgaokar (Vavzodd) won prize for Best Lights. Selwyn Braganza (Kori Vat), Shawn Rodrigues, Domnic Soares and Xavier de Moira Theo Alvares and  Antonio Azavedo, won the B
