PANJIM: The Mapusa Police have booked a case against three unknown persons for allegedly attacking a youth hailing from Corjuem, Aldona and causing him severe injuries.
According to the police, the victim Pravin Phadte (23) was attacked by unknown assailants on Thursday night.

Reason for the attack is not known and the case is under investigation, a police officer attached to the Mapusa Police Station told O Heraldo.
After the incident, the victim was rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Bambolim.
A case under section 326 read with 34 of IPC has been registered and the investigation is under progress, the police official said.
