Youth death: Tourism minister must resign, says Shiv Sena

BICHOLIM: The State Shiv Sena General Secretary Milind Gawas has demanded immediate resignation of Tourism Minister Babu Ajgaonkar for organising and supporting Sunburn Klassique festival that has led to the death of three youth due to “overdose of drugs”.
Addressing a press conference, here, Gawas said, “By organising festivals such as Sunburn that provokes people towards downfall has defamed the image of Goa on international level and hence he should resign immediately as his moral responsibility.”
He also accused Ajgaonkar for making a comment that the festival should be organised in South Goa too as it generated revenue to the tune of Rs 250 crore in North Goa.
