Khan was proceeding to college in the morning and riding towards Mapusa when the accident occurred near the mall in Porvorim.
Police have registered an offence against the driver of truck under various sections of the IPC.
Porvorim Police said the truck after dashing the motorcycle drove away from the accident scene. Police were able to trace the registration number of the vehicle but no arrest has been made so far.
