VALPOI: Rizwan Khan, a youth from Margao met watery grave while on a picnic at Shel Melavali Village River, in Sattari Taluka, on Sunday evening.
A group of 17 youth had gone for a picnic on Sunday morning. Th group realised Rizwan was missing when they gathered to go back home. Unable to find him, they filed a missing complaint with the Valpoi Police Station and informed the Valpoi Fire Brigade.
On Monday morning, the fire brigade launched a search operation and found the body floating in the river. The Valpoi Police conducted the panchanama and the body has been sent for post-portem at GMC, Bambolim.
