VASCO: In a tragic incident, 20-year-old Jovin Benedito Pereira died in an accident reported on Thursday along the newly-inaugurated Baina flyover near Gandhinagar, Vasco.
Vasco Police disclosed that Jovin, son of Chicalim Village Panchayat Sarpanch Seby Pereira, came under the rear wheels of a truck after ramming into the side wall of the highway.
He died on the spot. PSI Rohan Nageshkar is investigating the case under supervision of Police Inspector Nitin Halarnkar.
