Youth succumbs to injuries

BICHOLIM: A 21-year-old youth from Muslimwada in Bicholim succumbed to injuries that he suffered in a railway accident at Mumabi on Thursday. Mussalat Mamlekar (21) had gone to Mumbai for attending a wedding ceremony on December 23. While travelling from Mahim-Bandra railway route to attend a wedding he lost control and his head was accidentally hit against an outside pole. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Mumbai from where he was brought to GMC Bambolim. He died on Friday night and his final rites were performed on Saturday.
