PANJIM: The District and Sessions Court, North Goa extended Zenito Cardozo’s police custody by two days as his five-day custody completed on Monday.
Cardozo, wanted in the St Cruz shootout incident, had surrendered himself before the police on August 12.
A prime conspirator in the deadly attack, Cardozo evaded arrest for nearly two months since the registration of the offence on June 20.
In another case, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) has reserved order into Cardozo’s anticipatory bail in an abduction case to August 20.
During the hearing on Monday, his counsel refuted allegations claiming Cardozo is being falsely implicated in the case.
