PONDA: The 28 candidates, who are in fray for the seven Zilla Panchayat seats in Ponda taluka for the elections, began a door-to-door campaign on Sunday after offering coconut and seeking blessing of local deities.
Curti is a highly urbanised seat located close to Ponda town and it also includes part of Vere Vagurme.
Congress candidate Prachi Naik, MGP candidate Priya Chari and BJP Candidate Sanjana Naik, all contesting from Curti ZP seat, on Sunday began door-to-door campaign along with their supporters and parties leaders.
