PANJIM: The by-elections to the Zilla panchayat constituencies of Reis Magos, Cortalim and Davorlim will be held on October 16, State Election Commission (SEC) announced on Wednesday. As such, the election model code of conduct has come into force in these villages.
The filing of nominations will begin on September 28 and will end on October 6. The scrutiny will take place on October 7, while the withdrawals on October 8. The counting of votes will take place on October 18. The voting will take place through ballot papers.
