Even with MoI differences, vote bank will not be affected

Herald: Do you think that MGP wants to take political mileage out of the MoI issue in the present situation as assembly election is also approaching?
Vinay Tendulkar: Whatever it was we have discussed with party leaders and the topic is over. We have said we will discuss within ourselves instead giving statements in newspapers. They were with us for more than four years and have agreed with all government’s decision. We have told them we will try to sort it out and not to make unnecessary statements in the press.
HERALD: BJP and MGP have separate ideologies having different thoughts over MoI. In this situation if an alliance is made, do you think BJP vote bank will be affected?
VT: Even if there is difference in ideology and thoughts over MoI between two parties, there won’t be any effect on BJP vote bank. Even after difference in thoughts there will be alliance of BJP and MGP in forthcoming assembly election.
HERALD: Any chances of breaking alliance with MGP over the MoI issue as they have taken a strong stand that MoI will be major condition before alliance.
VT: No nothing like that will happen, I have said earlier that alliance with MGP will happen so there is no question of breaking it. We are in alliance since 2012 and we will be happy to have it.
HERALD: Do you think besides seat sharing, MoI will take the front seat at the time of conditions for an alliance?
VT: Till that time MoI issue won’t be there, so no question of raising it at this time and it is very immature to talk right about it now.
