TIRACOL FIGHTS A CRUEL INVASION
This is another side to the Invasion of Tiracol by those who are building a Golf Course and luxury villas in Tiracol village. The story of how most of these lands were “tricked” away from tenants who had no idea what their “negative declarations” would have. Now they are coming to terms not just with the fallout of their actions, but also the fact that many of these sign off’s were not ethically obtained. In some cases, names of people were struck off Forms I and IV thereby eliminating proof of their ownership. It is only now that both groups and mindsets are uniting agains, whom they perceive as a common enemy and an invader of the peace which has existed in the village for ever. These stories need to be told even as Tiracol fights against muscle men sent by the project proponents Leading Hotels, to cut trees and build roads.
