4-star Nhehern dazzles in Argentina

Wins gold in asanas, artistic, free style artistic and rhythmic yoga events

PANJIM: Nhehern Acharya swept four gold medals in the 26th World Yoga Championship held in Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Nhehern’s mastery over the artistic yoga display skills helped him retain his past record made in Argentina yet again winning gold in asanas, artistic, free style artistic and rhythmic yoga competing with the counterparts in the country that introduced the Artistic Yoga events in 1987.
Having participated at the number of yogasana and artistic yoga display championships at the National, Federation Cups, Asian Championships, International Championships and the World Championships at Uruguay, Italy, Argentina, Russia , Thailand and Malaysia.                                        
Nhehern Acharya is an ex-student of Little Penguins, Hedgewar High School, Peoples HS and Dhempe HSS of Science.
Nhehern has consecutively won the National and International medals for the last 10 years (2007 to 2017) and presently pursuing his physio and yoga studies at NITTE university has a record of winning 28 gold five silver and five bronze.
He could achieve this success with support extended by the President of Yoga Federation of India  Ashok Kumar Agarawal Haryana and his choreographer trainer and classical dancer Venu Gopal  Acharya from Mangalore.
The  seventeen member yoga players contingent of Yoga Federation of India which represented  India in  26th Amateur and professional  world Yoga Championship held at Buenos Aires Argentina from  May 6, concluded on Tuesday.
